404 File Not Found

  • Hi all,

    I just transferred my domain from Godaddy to BlueHost and began the installation of WordPress to work with my ProPhoto Blog. When I installed WordPress and tried to login to my admin page, all I get is a 404 File Not Found page. What am I doing wrong? Any suggestions?

  • Hi danettechappell,

    Are you sure the domain propagation has taken place? I’m guessing you transferred the domain, and installed wordpress through the bluehost control panel.

    If so, please wait a few hours and try again.

    Otherwise, check the contents of the ‘wp-config.php’ file.
