My apologies.

There’s a reference to that file near the top of your stylesheet (style.css).
https://gilbertmusings.com/wp-content/themes/dailynotes/style.css

but the file itself isn’t listed in the directory it should be in:
https://gilbertmusings.com/wp-content/themes/dailynotes/images/

I’m guessing it’s an error in the theme, as it’s not in the authors image directory either:
https://designdisease.com/testrun/wp-content/themes/dailynotes/images/

I’d just remove the background: url(images/header-top-bkg.png) no-repeat top left; from that line in the stylesheet so it stops being called each time you get a visitor. (Admin > Appearance > Editor > style.css).
