I posted about an hour ago but my problem seems to have greatly escalated. I was trying to add a favicon, I didn’t change anything, just added a plugin. Now, I’m trying to go from my cpanel in Yahoo (where I’m hosted) to my wordpress and I’m getting 404 Not Found “Not Found

The requested URL https:// was not found on this server.”

    Can anyone help???

Your host doesn’t have “index.php” set up to be somethign it looks for as a default page. I bet if you add an “index.htm” or “index.html” page, then you won’t see the list anymore. You’d either have to ask Yahoo! to add it in the string, or use .htaccess to force it to look for index.php.

The trouble with Yahoo is that it is easy but basic. If you want to start customising you run into trouble.

It would be much better to move to one of the other hosting companies and then use the Install4free service https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/87351?replies=1
