    Hello,

Im having an issue with woomcommerce, for some reason im getting a 404 on the cart / checkout pages.

I have deleted the pages permanently and then used woocommerce tool to reinstall the pages, the pages dont have a parent category, Ive disabled my plugins but no change, we do have an SSL certificate installed and we have set it to force use SSL on checkout pages but disabling it also does nothing.

So now not quite sure what to do, it was working before today and nothing has changed, and theres no updates :/

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Did you go to Dashboard > WooCommerce > Settings > Checkout tab, and make sure your new pages are selected in the cart page and checkout page dropdowns.

Yes they are set, if I go to the pages section and click view on the page it just sends me to a 404 :/

    Did you reset permalinks:
Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks, then click “Save Changes” twice.

OK, you’ve probably done that. Next I’d temporarily rename .htaccess to take it out of play to prove that its not something in there that’s doing it.

And my last suggestion is to look for _wp_old_slug links. If there are any, I think they will be in the wp_postmeta table.

Renamed my .htaccess file and just had the basic wordpress setup, no luck.

I reset the permalinks, changed theme to standard and checked, no luck changed them back no luck,

Removed all the links from wp_postmeta still no look and cleared my cache after each, still no luck :/

    hmmmmmmmm

Can you find the pages in the list of pages. When you edit them, do they show “published” and “visible”.

There will be a permalink below the title, when you click this do you also get 404. And if you try the link here:
    https://www.internetofficer.com/seo-tool/redirect-check/
    do you still get 404?

Does you host have a cache, or do you use cloudfront or similar.

Enable debug log in wp-config, try to get to the cart page, then inspect
    wp-content/debug.log for any clue,

Could you post the url to the site.

    Scraping the barrel…

Looks like you got it working. Just as well, my tip list had run out.

Yes the shop base was needed in the shop category links.
