    Hi,

I’ve been using the plugin succesfully for a long time. Today I migrated 3 sites to a different server (same OS & control panel, just different server). Migration was manual, exporting database and moving root WP folder. domain stayed the same. No caching is active.

2 out of 3 websites give 404 Not Found errors after migration using the custom URL slug.

I have tried all suggested fixes:

    • check wp_options & whl_page
    • Deactivate & reinstall procedures (including deleting whl_page values and resetting permalinks)
    • Reset permalinks
    • Reinstall WP core
    • .htaccess not relevant since running Nginx. No Nginx redirects configured.

    Any other suggestions?

    Hello,

Thanks for using WPS Hide Login.

    Did you regenerate permalinks ?

Did you contact your host to check if NGINX configuration was compatible with WPS Hide Login ?

    Hi @seinomedia

    Thank you for the reply.

    Yes, I regenerated numerous times.

Since 1/3 websites works as expected without issue after the migration (using the same process), I would be surprised if the host is the root cause of this issue.

And what are there any differences between the working websites and the others ?

(I have reposted this to the main thread page you may delete this)

    HTTP 500 Error

I would like to report a possible conflict with BuddyBoss Platform.

After updating WPS Hide Login from version 1.9.16.3 to 1.9.16.4 and working within FluentCRM I was getting error that were resolving themselves until the site crashed.

I contacted my host KINSTA and was told there was a conflict with BuddyBoss platform. Also another website hosted with Kinsta had just experienced the same problem.

I mentioned the latest update to my site was wps hide login. They later confirmed they deactivated wps hide login on the other website hosted and the 500 error was resolved. I in the meantime restored my website from a backup I had created before updating the plugin. Kinsta checked and confirmed my site was not generating the error any more.

I have left wps hide login at version 1.916.3.

Can you please look into this

Hi @johnnyj56 I do not use BuddyBoss on any website.

Hi @seinomedia there is no noticeable difference between the websites. We use the same plugin stack. Since the issue was not workable, I backed up the website using a WordPress plugin, removed the website from my host, reinstalled, restored backup. That restored functionality.

I will mark as resolved, even though the root cause is not fixed. As I worked around the issue and it no longer presents, I cannot help in fixing.
