404 Not Found for 1 post URL

  • Evening ..
    WordPress is installed for me at: /shop/
    I have a post set up for: /shop/about-us/
    But when I access that link it says:

    “NOT FOUND
    You tried going to /shop/shop/about-us/”

    It’s going to the root folder twice? But only on this one post. It seams like the URL is causing the problem; like a cached rewrite or something.
    This happens even when I hit “View Post” from the admin pages.

    I have tried deleting this post; and emptying the trash, starting from scratch with nothing in the post at all etc, have set and reset the permalink structure numerous times, I have tried different browsers to ensure its not a cache thing, but nothing has worked for me yet.

    It’s like my WP installation has a developed a grudge against me using “about-us” as a URL, anything else works.

    Any ideas? ty
