404 Not Found Login URL

  • For the past week, I have been experiencing an abnormal amount (100/day) of random login attempts to my site via foreign IP addresses. I’m receiving the corresponding emails sent via a site plugin.

    The aforementioned attempts have locked me out of my admin portal.

    Moreover, I get a “404 Not Found” error when I attempt to access the URL for the admin portal; I have neither moved/changed the URL (link included above).

    Any and all assistance/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  • Is there any security or login protection plugin installed on your WordPress?
    If so you need to remove that from FTP of hosting file manager.
