How can I fix the 404 errors from deleted campaigns?

BTW, is this plugin still supported?

    Hi @rick111 ,

    Thank you for your message.

We’re here to help you with the 404 errors from deleted campaigns. Could you please provide more details about the issue scenario? This will help us better understand and assist you effectively.

And yes, the weMail plugin is still fully supported.

    Looking forward to your response.

Links in campaigns appear to have the following form:

    https://api.getwemail.io/redirect-to/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

If the campaign is deleted, those who click on the links get a 404.

Is there a way to direct deleted campaigns to a page of the website creating the campaign?

    Hi @rick111 ,

At the moment, we recommend keeping your campaigns rather than deleting them to avoid the 404 errors. We understand how this can be frustrating, so we’re actively working on a fix to ensure that the links will continue to function even after a campaign has been deleted.

Thanks for your patience — our plugin is still fully supported, and we’re here to help.

You could forward 404 errors to a url specified by a customer, maybe a page saying the campaign is no longer available. I do not see why you are not doing this.

    Hi @rick111 ,

Thank you for the suggestion! Forwarding 404 errors to a custom URL specified by the customer is a great idea, and I can see how it would improve the user experience. I’ll pass this feedback along to our development team for consideration in future updates.

We appreciate your input and are always looking for ways to enhance weMail. If you have any other suggestions or need further assistance, feel free to reach out.
