I am getting a 404 message on every page but the homepage. I migrated but this was over a month ago and everything worked fine.

My permalinks settings are set to custom and using the post name – it works again when i set it to plain but then the URL’s are the post-ID etc.

I migrated the URL from another installation, but over a month ago and it worked fine until today.

    Any help appreciated.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

It appears that you’ve resolved this, in visiting your site, there are no 404s after a quick test and the URLs are all the “pretty” style. I’ll go ahead and mark this topic as resolved for you, but it remains open if you have anything to add.

For anyone landing here on from a search, the usual cause of this is the .htaccess file has some sort of issue. For example, WP was unable to write to it due to permissions, or it’s unreadable or does not exist at all, or a server configuration prevents it from being used.
