    Hello,
    great product!
This issue is very similar to the recently resolved issue of same name – 1 day ago – but latest 2.1 version does not fix for us. Recap..
    Direct url works – https://www.whygo.net/our-404.
Error urls do not – https://www.whygo.net/our-404-broken.

As you can see on the error pages, the 404 pages top slider seems to appear but the rest of the pages pulls what looks like our blog summary content.

Unlike the prev issue, it would seem that all error pages, irrespective of coming from a page or a blog post, with the blog base https://www.whygo.net/the-grapevine, will always throw the broken page styling. Only the 404-url direct will display styling correctly.

We tried disabling all plug-ins & tried from parent AVADA theme – no good.
When we tried changing to Twenty-Thirteen theme, both 404 & error pages displayed correct content, so certainly looks like a theme issue.

    Any suggestions to fix?

    cheers
    James

    Hi James,

naturally I want to fix it once and for all. After some hours of code analyzing I’ve found the problem now. But as far as I can see the changes I’ve made in version 2.4 should fix it in Compatibility Mode. Compatibility Mode works on my testing site, only Standard Mode does not work properly.

I think it’s not possible to solve this in Standard Mode but if Compatibility Mode works fine, I’d add an automatic switch to Compatibility Mode if Avada Theme is used.

Would you please test Compatibility Mode with the current 404page version?

    Thanks a lot!

    Peter

No more response since 2 months. In my tests everything worked fine, so I’ve marked this issue as resolved.
