404 page is the only correct page

I currently updated everything on my blog, theme, framework, WP, 15 plugins, and its been going just as well as any WP update can go. But when I update files in the theme, and go to the website nothing changes, but If I go to a 404 page, everything is shown correctly, even the image that says it was 404’d.

For example
I’ll go to the main page, and there will be an icon thats 404’d and ill open the image in a new tab, and voila, not only does the entire website look correct, but the 404’d thumbnail all of a sudden is working.

What gives?
