404 Page Not Found error repeats

  • I recently updated to 3.3 and published a post on iPentimento | Genealogy and History yesterday with no problem. I’ve tried disabling all plugins and then trying to publish, but I still get a message with 404 Page not found.

    I’ve been able to paste in my article using the Word feature on my compose page BUT, when I do that THAT is when I get the 404 error msg.

    1. All that said, I don’t think it’s a plugin problem because it still happened when all plugins were disabled.

    2. I was able to publish a post after I updated to 3.3.

    3. I can preview the post with just the title and no body content; but if I put the whole thing together and hit preview it also comes back with the error message.

    It seems as if the program isn’t “happy” with something in my post. Is it a problem with a link within the article? Thanks for any help or suggestions.
