404 redirect not working when plugin activated

Thanks for checking. Unfortunately, the update has not solved the problem.

I will try to to disable all other plugins to find out if a conflict between plugins is causing it.

Will let you know the outcome.

Just by any chance, were you using an HTTPS / SSL plugin? I think I may have found something but would like to confirm.

Yes, I am using the plugin WordPress HTTPS: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wordpress-https/

However, disabling the plugin does not solve the problem.

Then this will get fixed in the next release. I think it will work if you disable the HTTPS plugin + flush the rewrite rules (using the Rewrite Rules Inspector plugin for example)
