    I’ve noticed some 404 errors using dev tool related to background images used in my slider. Note that I’m also using Jetpack.

    Hi @shoptak!

    It looks like you are using some image optimization, which has a bug in its code. Your image urls are replaced, which could be fine, but these images aren’t existing. So the bug seems to be the image creation, that they failed to create the optimized images. As I see here:

    these kind of pagespeed.ic image urls are created, when the server host enables PageSpeed Modules, so I suggest getting in touch with your server host and ask them to either turn this module off, or fix the error it has.

    Yes, actually I’m using Jetpack lazy loader for images and smush for image optimization.

    I can turn off the Pagespeed module on my apache server but I need to read more about the impact of doing so.
