• Hi there,

I need some help understanding why the default links of a custom post breaks if I don’t customize the permalink. I will try to describe the details here:

    SCENARIO:
I create a custom post without customizing the default permalink.
This makes the permalink text appears ok, but it appears with gray font.
When I save it, it does not create a custom permalink under the plugin list, which I believe is a normal behavior, since there was no customization.

    PROBLEM:
When I try to open that post URL, it redirects to 404 page.

    EXTRA INFO
    * If I do any change on the permalink, then it creates a permalink under the plugin list and the link starts working.
    * If I disable the Custom Permalinks plugin, those pages links works again.
    * The post is under a category that have the following taxonomy: /resources/customer-stories
    * The post have the slug “test” and the default permalink “/resouces/customer-stories/test”
