    Hi,

I tested around several hours to find out the page, which rules the 404-output in MH Magazine Lite. It is NOT content_none.php, but which one is it?

I also uploaded a 404.php, which is not used by WordPress, so how is the theme configured to use it’s own look with 404 message, search box and below my last articles?

    Thank you very much!

  • Hi noapi1,

thanks for using MH Magazine lite.

The content you are referring to is handled through content-none.php which is being called in index.php if there is no content or in case of 404.

Please also note that there is a difference between a 404 page and what you see when you access for example an archive that has no posts. Currently both scenarios are handled though content-none.php. In case you want to display different stuff on 404 pages, you could create your own 404.php file based on your personal requirements.

Thank you. I promise: Yesterday it didn’t work. Today it does. This is very strange, because I really tried several hours to solve this issue.

So you can close this question.

You’re welcome and we’re happy that you’ve sorted it out.
