    Hi guys,

I’ve just updated to WP 2.9.1 and since then, I’m getting a 404 returned on every page & post. The only thing that seems to work for me is the index page. The URL is https://blog.labelzone.co.uk/

Now somewhat foolishly, I didn’t do the usual backup of the database as I’m having a bit of a nightmare morning ??

Any ideas on how to proceed?

    Many thanks in advance!

As an update, I’ve disabled, then deleted all plugins to see if they were causing issues, but the problem remains. I should probably point out that I can see all the posts and pages from the dashboard too.

If you require any further information, please let me know…

    possibly a permalinks issue?

to deal with anything that may be a permalinks issue, I usually go into my permalinks settings, set back to default and save. Delete any .htaccess (as long as you have nothing custom you’ve added to it) from my host. Then reenable permalinks as I want them.

    RVoodoo, you were indeed correct.

I had a post stuck in some sort of redirect loop (so Firefox described it, it wouldn’t load at all in IE) which seemed to be fighting against the canonical redirect plugin.

Uploading a fresh .htaccess file and editing the post slug seemed to do the trick.

    Thanks for your input.
