I set up Postie according to the instructions, and when I hit “Test Config” I get an error: “405 Not Allowed”.

I switched to the twentyfifteen theme and I still get the error.

    Thoughts?

Are you using Nginx or Apache or something else?

I don’t know, but the error includes this: “nginx/1.10.2”

    So I’m guessing Nginx ??

You might talk to your hosting company as it seems like something is misconfigured.

Shoot. Really need the featured image capability that Postie provides.

I’m with Bluehost, if that sheds any light.

    OK thanks.

Hi Wayne … Bluehost is asking which PHP version. They have 5.4 or 5.6.

Doesn’t really matter. Newer is better. 5.6

OK Bluehost applied 5.6. I switched to twentyfifteen theme and deactivate every other plugin on my site.

    405 Not Allowed.

I don’t know what else to do.

You need to have Bluehost look at the logs to see why Nginx is returning this error. It is a web server configuration issue, not a Postie problem.
