• Howdy.

I recently decided to re-open my WP site but on a new domain. I was able to restore a backup of the old database on the new domain and I’ve been able to log into the WP-Admin and delete old users and posts.

However, now when I do almost anything (post, add new user, etc.) I get a 406 Error page.

The post and new user info saves each time but I always get a 406 error page after I save or creat a new user.

Anyone else ever experience this and know of a way to fix it?

  • Check your wp_options table and see what is the website url?

Yeah, one of the first things I did was change the old url to the new one. I’m going through the database and searching for anything with the old url and changing it to the new one.

Still running into the same error though. :/

what about the permalinks? are they set and did you save the permalinks structure again?
