406 Errors Occuring Post v3.5 Update

    After updating to v3.5 I am experiencing 406, Mod Security errors on all 15 plug-ins I have installed when I click on edit. The error message reads as follows:

    Error 406 – Not Acceptable

    An error has occurred. Generally a 406 error is caused because a request has been blocked by Mod Security. If you believe that your request has been blocked by mistake please contact the web site owner.

    All my plugins are up to date, I have deactivated all plug-ins and then re-activated each individually, run diagnostics which show everything is ok and there is no reason I should be receiving this error.

    I have also contacted my hosting company who have advised me this is actually a software bug that will require a permanent fix by either WordPress or Mod Security.

    (My site is currently in maintenance mode and not live so I have not provided a link to it.)
