.406 Not Acceptable > not able to insert images to pages.

  • Hey all,

    I’ve just set up a new blog. I all works fine, except inserting images into pages. Uploading is no problem, but hitting the “Insert to post” button always leads to “406 Not acceptable — This request is not acceptable”.
    Same appears when linking the image from an URL.

    I have no idea how to fix this. Can you help?

  • I have exactly the same problem. One suggestion was to deactivate all plug ins, which I have tried, but it makes no difference. All help – in simple language please! – appreciated. Thanks, GoJo bannersandmash
