413 error request entry to large

  • So ill start by saying that im quite new to wordpress. Today when Ive tried to make modifications to my site on the homepage. When I try to make any change and then hit “update” it comes back with a 413 error request entry to large.

    exact wording: Request Entity Too Large

    The requested resource
    /wp-admin/post.php
    does not allow request data with POST requests, or the amount of data provided in the request exceeds the capacity limit.

    any help apreciated
