    Hello!

I can’t use the plugin at all. Any AJAX requests made from the plugin are returning a 418 error. Any functionality from toggling the premium features in the dashboard, updating settings… nothing. I can’t find anything about this error from this plugin.

    Please help…

    Hi @ozzygonzalez

Sorry to see that things are not working as expected!

I recommend that you ask the hoster to (partially) disable the ModSecurity as it causes indeed this very particular issue HTTP 418 – I am not a teapot (see https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTTP/Status/418). I know that for example DreamPress causes this response. I am hosting also a test site with them and their support was very helpful to disable (parts of) ModSecurity.

Hope that helps! Please let me know if you have further questions and I’ll be glad to assist you.

That did the trick, thank you! For anyone else who comes across this issue: seems to be unique to Dreamhost. Support was helpful with configuring the correct settings.

    Hi @ozzygonzalez

To follow up on this specific issue: Version 20.0 has been modified and a number of configuration options that triggered the ModSecurity ruleset have been renamed. I have now received feedback that the plugin can now be installed and configured at Dreamhost without the need to ask support to disable parts of ModSecurity.

    Thanks!
