• I would be grateful for some urgent assistance or advice on how to fix this problem as this website is my livelihood! There was an automatic upgrade to 4.2.3 last night and since then my online store is no longer visible: https://www.candidarelease.com/store. I have checked to see that this page is still visible to the public and is still published. Please if anyone can help I would be super appreciative! Thank you. Monica

• What are you using to power the store?

@rambolee, please start your own thread. It’s unlikely that your issue would be the same as that affecting candidarelease

ECWID is an externally hosted eCommerce solution. How exactly is your WordPress site linked to ECWID? Are you perhaps using this plugin?

If so, I’d recommend going to Settings -> Permalinks and clicking save without making any changes.

Then go to Ecwid Store → General and follow the setup instructions. You’ve probably already configured it once before, but doing it again will make sure all the settings are correct.

Also make sure your ‘Store’ page contains whatever code it needs to in order to display the store. If you’re just showing a single product, the [ecwid_product] shortcode is needed.

Hi Shane, thanks so much for those instructions. This is quite strange however there is not a plugin for ECWID installed and there never has been. On the Store page in WP there is a shortlink: https://wp.me/P6oeKL-H. Is there an area in ECWID that the shortlink should be shown? I’ve revisited the WP Permalinks and saved this page, also saved settings again in ECWID general page, however the store is still not showing. This was all working prior to the automatic upgrade. I apologize I’m not very technical and have inherited this website platform and eCommerce store set up from the previous owner who established this business. Thanks Monica

Could you provide the following:
– a list of all plugins you have installed.
– The contents of the /store/ page. (From the HTML view, not the Visual view in the WordPress editor.

Sure. The active plugins are:

– AccessPress Social Icons
– Black Studio TinyMCE Widget
– Contact Form 7
– Google XML Sitemaps v3 for qTranslate
– Jetpack by WordPress.com
– SEO Ultimate

The contents from the store page:

Your browser does not support JavaScript. Please proceed to HTML version of Emile Wilson’s store<img alt=”Doctor Trusted Seal” width=”150″ height=”42″ src=”//doctortrusted.org/seal_1665578_wide.png”/>

I don’t know if this is helpful, however when viewing the store in both Firefox and Safari the Store can not be viewed on the Store page, however when viewing in Google Chrome, the content of the Store also can not be viewed however there is a shopping bag available to the side, and when I click on that it takes me to a small pop up window which has the contents of the Store.

I’m not 100% sure, but it sounds like your store code is being blocked because of WordPress 4.2.3’s cross-site-scripting fixes.

I’d recommend installing the Ecwid plugin mentioned above and setting up your store through that, rather than embedding it into a page.

Ok Shane I will do that. THANK YOU so much for your assistance!
