    Will this plugin generate “This page isn’t working” 429 errors?

    I am trying to resurrect a site another guy started and abandoned. Users will be required to log in. Limit Login Attempts appears to be enabled.

    Sometimes when someone logs in as an Administrator or Subscriber, it works fine. But after 3-4 successful logins in roughly 15 minutes, the next attempt will result in a “This page isn’t working” and “HTTP ERROR 429” message. This happens whether I am logging in from my office through my wifi router, through my phone without the wifi, or if someone else is testing it.

    Note: It does not tell me to wait a while and try again. (I’ve gotten that message too and can deal with it.) It is just saying the above.

    Does Limit Login Attempts do this and will the premium version allow it to be fixed?

    LLAR doesn’t do that. To make sure you might try to turn the plugin off and do your tests again. Please let us know about the results.
