This is the first time the auto update fails, it usually works.

It may be related to a problem I’m experiencing right now downloading WordPress 4.5. It keeps stalling 18% into it. My guess is that the server is overloaded with requests.

Possibly. If so, a manual upgrade will definitely still work. ??
