5.3.5 update stopped WooCommerce Square Payment plugin from working

    Woocommerce Square payments don’t work after update to SG Optimiser 5.3.5
    Credit card fields at checkout will not populate. Have disabled SG Optimiser plugin and things revert back to normal. This is the only plugin that was updated prior to discovering this issue. Cannot use plugin (or run a business) unless this is fixed please! My url https://www.unicornfibres.com.au/

    There was no error message. I went through to SG support and was advised to disable Defer Render blocking JS in the Frontend Optimization settings. I did this and the Woocommerce For Square payments is now working fine. Unfortunately my GT metrix score has now dropped to 62% for Defer parsing of Javascript which isn’t so great!

    Such behaviour is simply normal. Not all scripts can be deferred. Enable the option and use the exclude functionality to exclude the scripts you need from this optimization. Then, we will defer only the rest of the scripts that can work asynchronously.

    I tried to disable the Defer Render Blocking JS, and this made no difference at all to me or my customers. Only disabling the entire plugin worked for me.

    Something changed here, and theres a lot of people with the issue, not sure how many of them have figured out it is related to the SG Optimizer yet though!
