5.3 Broke Crop Tool

    The 5.3 update broke the crop tool. Now every time you try to move the crop box or drag its corner, it goes to the “drop files to upload window”. Very annoying and hopefully it will get fixed soon. Thanks!

    Clear your browser cache.

    The problem occurs when you set an aspect ratio. Even after clearing my cache.

    Actually, it’s totally random. Sometimes you can drag the box, but other times the upload box pops up! I’m using Chrome and have never had this happen until the most recent update. The big image threshold thing doesn’t work right either. Some big fails this time guys!

    Are you using any server side caching? Cloudflare? Clear those too.

    I can’t reproduce this issue on a local install. Seems to be fine to me, so I’m thinking that you still have some kind of cache giving you old files.

    I’m still having problems. I’m using the classic editor if that matters and the problem seems to be with the “drag files to upload” feature.
