5.3 WP update

Oncean WP will release updates ASAP… expected in few hours for the Extra…

Won’t the update be pushed thru to our dashboards? What’s going to happen to my settings for it if I download it and then upload it into my dashboard? Will it overwrite the version I already have or do I have to remove the old one first?

I just got the update for the Ocean Extra Plugin and OceanWP theme – I updated them then updated to WP 5.3 – no issues on my end.

Everytime I want to log-in I get the following errors:

I don′t have Worpress installed on my Mac so I can′t rename any folder.
Normally I log in with following link:

https://www.baumpflegepemsl.de/wp-admin

But it is impossible to log in.

I NEED HELP PLEASE. I am a bit lost.
And unfortunately I am not very firm to computer techniques.

OMG how will I get this fixed ??

1) Download the OceanWP Extra updated zip file here: https://oceanwp.org/extension/ocean-extra/ and extract the contents

2) Access your site via FTP. If you don’t know how to do that, contact your hosting provider.

3) From FTP, upload the updated “ocean-extra” folder to your directory here: www/htdocs/w019a49c/baumpflegepemsl.de/wp-content/plugins/ocean-extra/ …allow it to overwrite the existing folder and its contents.

Everything should be back to normal after you update those files.

Hi everyone. I am using the Photocrati Sidewinder template and am having problems updating WP. It tells me to update PHP first at my provider which is Hostgator. I went there and they offer an upgrade to version 7 I believe but when I apply this, my Photocrati site will not load. Can you please help with this?

Does HostGator give you a Cpanel? If so, go to PHP version manager and update it manually to the latest version or whatever version you think is best. I’m on a managed PHP version – 7.3. Also, leave Hostgator ASAP.
