    Hi,

Is your site a fully secured site running SSL? Or only partly protected?

Also can you carry out a test. Can you disable all other plugins except ours. Then carry out a gtmetrix test.

    Let me know what happens.

    Thank you

Thank you for your quick reply. Yes, I did a test by disabling all plug-ins and the only plug-in that slows the site down is yours. We do have an SSL certificate on and have ensured that all items are secured.

    Hi, try this test.

Type the following URL on your browser. Take a note of how long it takes to load up.

    https://elicitinginsights.com/

Then type the following URL on your browser. Make sure you have cleared your browser cache before you begin. How long does it take to redirect from http to https?

I carried out the above test and it took too long for your site to redirect from http to https. That tells me that something is slowing down this process.

Let me know how you go.

Thank you again for your response. Whether I use http or https the site is incredibly slow. If I deactivate your plugin—and only your plugin—the site loads much quicker as expected. Cached or not. Ideas? Thank you.

Hi, there is not much I can do unfortunately. Something in your site is making it slow. And as you say when our plugin is activated your site loading time is very slow. When our plugin is deactivated your site is fast.

The only other suggestion I can make is to test different shopping cart plugins. This will confirm to you if it is our plugin or not causing this issue.

    Kind regards

    Hi @ockographics,

I had a similar problem with speed and used the health check plugin https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/health-check/ which was recommended to me by Elegant Themes ( I build with DIVI theme also) and it found problems that I was able to adjust on my hosting that helped, and my final issue was the CDN I was using, I ran performance tests on cdnplanet.com and found that my cdn was much faster in Europe, Russia, and Vietnam so I changed the cdn I was using and got things up to speed.

So, I thought I would mention these two things, it looks like the cdn you are using is being run by comcast cable network in the USA.

    Good Luck!

    Robin
