When I click Add From Media Library I see an empty media library, even though I have a lot going on in my media library. Attempting to upload an image shows a generic “An error has occurred try again later” error.

No error is showing up in the devtools when clicking on “Add From Media Library” or uploading an image. The regular WordPress media library works fine.

I tried enabling “Custom Ready Event” and clearing the html/css caches, the result has not changed.

What can I do? Here’s my System Info:

  • Hi @thegav

Please update your FooGallery plugin to the latest version (version 1.9.34). The latest version which was released earlier this month fixed some bugs and issues that were similar to yours.

Kindly let us know if this helps.

    Regards,
    Elvis.

    Hi @thegav

Can you please take a screenshot of your developer console the moment you get the “An error has occurred try again later” error?

Once you’ve taken the screenshot, you can share it with us using a URL link to that screenshot. You can use services like droplr to help you take a screenshot and give you a URL link to that screenshot.

    Regards,
    Elvis.

I found that if I disable Advanced Fields Pro then everything works as expected. I am pretty sure my site relies on both plugins.

EDIT: I am now sure it’s the qTranslate-XT plugin (that requires ACF). Disabling it makes the gallery work, however it is required for the site.

    Thanks for that investigation @thegav

I installed both qTranslate-XT from Github and also ACF. With both activated, I could still upload media from the FooGallery add media button, so I think there might be another plugin conflict at play here.

Can you install the Health Monitoring plugin and then enable troubleshooting mode, which allows you to enable FooGallery and then other plugins one at a time, until you get the error, which will tell you which plugin is in conflict.
