    Confirmed happening on 6 sites so far, had to disable SEOPRESS on each to fix the issue.

    We’re on it. SVN issue.

    Thanks, thought you guys would be. Appreciated. Please update once working.

    The same here, the seopre 5.7.2 with seopress pro 5.7.1 gives me crash on websites.

    If you encounter any error, please delete manually the wp-seopress directory using a SFTP client like Filezilla, Transmit…

    Then, add the plugin again from your WP admin, Plugins, Add.

    Sorry for all this, super stressful to solve, we hope everything is ok.

    The above suggestion worked, luckily only happened to 6 sites max, out of a possible 100+, thanks for the quick fix, and understand it’s stressful. Know it’s appreciated.

    Confirmed this works for SEOPress free & Pro on 5.7.2, using WP 6.0. Thanks for posting the solution so quickly!

    ??

    Hi,

    The above workaround (deleting wp-seopress directory and re-adding the plugin) did not work for us.

    Still throwing a fatal error when SEOPress (free) is already active and SEOPress Pro is just activated:

    Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function register_block_type() in .../wp-content/plugins/wp-seopress-pro/inc/functions/blocks.php:14 Stack trace: #0 .../wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(286): seopress_pro_register_blocks('') #1 .../wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(310): WP_Hook->apply_filters(NULL, Array) #2 .../wp-includes/plugin.php(453): WP_Hook->do_action(Array) #3 .../wp-settings.php(450): do_action('init') #4 .../wp-config.php(169): require_once('/var/www/gwcons...') #5 .../wp-load.php(37): require_once('/var/www/gwcons...') #6 .../wp-admin/admin.php(31): require_once('/var/www/gwcons...') #7 .../wp-admin/plugins.php(10): require_once('/var/www/gwcons...') #8 {main} thrown in .../wp-content/plugins/wp-seopress-pro/inc/functions/blocks.php on line 14

    Please advise further.

    @nemokapitany make sure to update PRO to version 5.7.2 too.

    Hi,

    Evidently I have of course updated PRO to version 5.7.2 and this is the point what caused the issue.

    @nemokapitany as you’re a PRO customer and to follow w.org guidelines, please open a support ticket from here:

    Thank you!
