5.7.8 Username and Password not accepted.

    Hello,

    I am trying to get this plugin to work with SMTP – gmail.com:587 and Password Authentication. OAuth 2.0 is way too complicated + instructions in the blog post are outdated (if I can’t follow the instructions my clients won’t be either).

    It keeps coming back with: 5.7.8 Username and Password not accepted.

    Am I using the G-Suite username and PWD? BTW I’m using the DIVI contact form.

    Also, I am unable to allow a Less Secure setting in Google for this app. When then Critical security alert comes up and I click on ‘Yes, it was me’ it still blocks the app.

    Any help is greatly appreciated. TY
