5 domain names (not subdomains) one one installation?

I used this code for a Joomla site, would it work for a WordPress site?

All domains are redirecting to the same folder, and this is at the start of the header of the default theme.

1 common homepage (www.restaurant.com) which redirects to all 4 sites
(Links towards https://www.restaurant1.com / https://www.restaurant2.com / https://www.restaurant3.com / https://www.restaurant4.com)

Sure that’s basic. Just make 1 MultiSite install with the main site as the links.

Then make four more sites for each separate restaurant. They’ll look like resturant.com/resturant1 but don’t worry. You can use https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/wordpress-mu-domain-mapping/ to map domains!

Thanks again for your answer. This will be my first multisites and I read a lot of pages where they only mentioned subdomains such as subdomain.restaurant.com and that was not what I was looking for.

No it doesn’t matter if you use subdomains or subdirectories (though subdirs are less work for many people).

The sites can all use the same theme, or different ones, as you see fit. The theme settings will be individual, remember.

Just set them up with the subfolder or subdomains for now, and map them when you’re ready ?? Workds fine.
