500 Allowed memory exceded errors

This is a great plugin and has solved a lot of issues we had with the WooCommerce official Stripe plugin. However, whenever the plugin is active we get frequent 500 errors on the backend, with lines similar to the following on our error logs:
PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 536870912 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 20480 bytes)
This only happens when this plugin is active. Have you seen anything like this? Any tips for how to diagnose?
