    I’m currently using 2.0.18 and it’s working fine.. If I upgrade to anything higher I get the invalid credit card error and the 500 error. I’m using the most recent php 7.1.14 and everything else is up to date. Please help fix this issue.

    I just tried upgrading to 3.0.3 and I’m still getting the this:

    Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Class ‘Raven_Autoloader’ not found in /home1/acetrailers/public_html/phpbigevents.com/wp-content/plugins/cardconnect-payment-module/cardconnect-payment-gateway.php:55 Stack trace: #0 /home1/acetrailers/public_html/phpbigevents.com/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(286): CardConnectPaymentGateway_init(”) #1 /home1/acetrailers/public_html/phpbigevents.com/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(310): WP_Hook->apply_filters(NULL, Array) #2 /home1/acetrailers/public_html/phpbigevents.com/wp-includes/plugin.php(453): WP_Hook->do_action(Array) #3 /home1/acetrailers/public_html/phpbigevents.com/wp-settings.php(327): do_action(‘plugins_loaded’) #4 /home1/acetrailers/public_html/phpbigevents.com/wp-config.php(89): require_once(‘/home1/acetrail…’) #5 /home1/acetrailers/public_html/phpbigevents.com/wp-load.php(37): require_once(‘/home1/acetrail…’) #6 /home1/acetrailers/public_html/phpbigevents.com/wp-blog-header.php(13): require_once(‘/home1/acetrail…’) #7 /home1/acetrailers/public_html/phpbigevents.com/index.p in /home1/acetrailers/public_html/phpbigevents.com/wp-content/plugins/cardconnect-payment-module/cardconnect-payment-gateway.php on line 55

    I rolled back to 2.0.18 and its fine and processing cards (even the field looks better there 3.x) is there a reason for not staying 2.0.18?

    I would recommend, if you’re now on 2.0.18, updating to 3.0.3, and trying it out – there was an issue with 3.0.0 – 3.0.1 that we fixed. 3.0.2 should also contain the fix.

    It was requested that we implement new API methods (iframe) by CardConnect – thus 3.x.

    2.0.18 was a minor version and included an update notice of the 3.x versions. In fact, you can manually make the 3.0.3 version revert to 2.0.18 by adding “define(‘WC_CC_ADVANCED”, true);” to your wp-config.php file.

    This opens up some options on the WooCommerce CardConnect settings page, and turning off the iframe option puts the plugin in 2.0.18 mode. If you try 3.0.3 (after being on 2.0.18), let me know the results.

    Thanks for your patience.

    I tired it already and I still get the 500 error. 2.0.18 works the best, is there going to be a fix for this? I have the most updated versions of PHP, Woocommerce etc..

    No problem.. Some history.. the first time I used the “automatic update” from the plugin page. Same error, the next time I downloaded 3.0.3 from this site and updated the .zip file though the portal in wordpress (upload file link). I deactivated and deleted the plugin then installed 2.0.18 via upload link and it’s working fine now.

    Unfortunately, I cannot troubleshoot your specific issue without getting some kind of login to your server.

    When you download the 3.0.3 plugin version from here (WP repo) and unzip it on your computer, do you see a “vendor” folder inside of it?

    Try a fresh download and let me know.

    Yes I see a vendor folder.

    Just did a fresh install and installed though “add new plugin” link inside wordpress. Got this error while navigating to the site:

    Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Class ‘Raven_Autoloader’ not found in /home1/acetrailers/public_html/phpbigevents.com/wp-content/plugins/cardconnect-payment-module-5/cardconnect-payment-gateway.php:55 Stack trace: #0 /home1/acetrailers/public_html/phpbigevents.com/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(286): CardConnectPaymentGateway_init(”) #1 /home1/acetrailers/public_html/phpbigevents.com/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(310): WP_Hook->apply_filters(NULL, Array) #2 /home1/acetrailers/public_html/phpbigevents.com/wp-includes/plugin.php(453): WP_Hook->do_action(Array) #3 /home1/acetrailers/public_html/phpbigevents.com/wp-settings.php(327): do_action(‘plugins_loaded’) #4 /home1/acetrailers/public_html/phpbigevents.com/wp-config.php(89): require_once(‘/home1/acetrail…’) #5 /home1/acetrailers/public_html/phpbigevents.com/wp-load.php(37): require_once(‘/home1/acetrail…’) #6 /home1/acetrailers/public_html/phpbigevents.com/wp-blog-header.php(13): require_once(‘/home1/acetrail…’) #7 /home1/acetrailers/public_html/phpbigevents.com/index in /home1/acetrailers/public_html/phpbigevents.com/wp-content/plugins/cardconnect-payment-module-5/cardconnect-payment-gateway.php on line 55

    Not sure why you have ‘cardconnect-payment-module-5’ in your error log. This tells me you have multiple cardconnect plugins installed.

    Can you FTP into your site, via cPanel or FTP, and delete all cardconnnect plugins in the plugins folder, and add only the 3.0.3 via manual upload?
    Then log in to WP dashboard, and activate it.
    If it fails, then do the same thing as above, deleting etc.. but this time, add the 2.0.18 plugin and activate.

    If this fails, the only way to assist would be to allow me some kind of login into your server – which may not be possible.

    You may be stuck with the 2.0.18 version in that case, but not to worry, it will continue to work well into the future.

    Its 9pm here, I’ll be back on the job tomorrow.
