500 Error and Website Down

  • Experiencing 500 error. Site appears to be down and unable to open wp-admin to see if there are any identified issues.

    I would start by disabling your cloudflare to that you are getting accurate delivery of the site.

    Also, check the site_url and site_home values in the _options table of your database. You may get wonky results bc you’re not running over SSL.
    Make sure your ssl is properly installed, and that your values are https://

    Hello, We have not made any changes or installations recently. Could you please advise on where cloudflare could be disabled from, and any impacts that could have? Is there an exact link that could be visited to disable this? I am unable to log-in to wp-admin and that is how I have always logged in for updates since the site was built.

    It seems that the error comes from the server where the web is hosted.
    I recommend that you go to your hosting support so they can give you a solution.
    You can also ask Cloudflare’s support in case your hosting does not know how to give you solutions

    Remember that we do not have access to your hosting account and that the people who participate in the forum are volunteers.
