• Hello,

I have a WOrdpress install here that has worked great for the last year.

    https://www.resortquestwhistler.com/information/

All of a sudden when I try to view the blog or login to the admin control panel, I get a 500 error. I have no idea why since I did not change anything.

The only thing I see changed is when I RDP into the WIndows server, it tells me that an automatic update was installed. We have a private WIndows server rental for webhosting.

I figure the server auto installed a standard Windows update that was released and now that has disabled my wordpress blog entirely.

When I login to the PHPAdmin I can see the database no problem. It looks ok when I glance at it.

I figure that my wordpress blog has lost access to the mysql database somehow.

Does anyone know how to fix this WordPress problem?

So far I tried deleting the web.config file but that did not work. I cannot figure out how to get the website blog back up and running.

    Thanks,
    Matt
