500 Errors after 2.7.0 -> 2.7.1

    Posted to the wrong subforum, hopefully this is the right place.

    I upgraded my blog (https://www.aishiteru-tokyo.com) to 2.7.1 and suddenly it seems like nothing works – you can see the front page but all of the links are 500-ing.

    When I log onto the dashboard, all of my posts/pages/comments are still there and everything seems to work fine otherwise.

    Not running any plugins that seem detrimental to the operation of the blog… and I swear it was running fine earlier. Hell, I thought it was running fine even after the upgrade.

    Help?

    After a bit more fiddling around I’ve gotten things to work again when I changed the Permalink setting to default, but changing it back again to Day and Name produces the 500 errors across the board again. I prefer Day and Name so whatever helps that work again…

    try deleting the .htaccess
    then reset permalinks to desired

    That worked, thank you so much!

    Now all I’ve gotta do is get WP Super Edit to install and all of my upgrades will be complete…
