500 Internal Error and weird wordpress requests

    Ok, so wordpress is sending a lot of these requests:
    199.80.58.19 – – [25/Nov/2009:11:57:08 -0500] “GET /feed/ HTTP/1.0” 404 83960 “-” “WordPress/2.8.6; my domain”

    lots and lots of those, I believe that these cause my site to get 500 Internal server errors. Anyone know what those requests are and how I put a stop to them?
