500 internal server error

  • After my last wordpress update, I started getting a 500 internal server error at my donovanchristian.com site. I’ve read that I need to check my .htaccess file, but I have no idea how to do that. Do I need access to the wordpress dashboard? (I am hosted on godaddy.)
