• HELP!!!
I wanted to install a plugin and just when i activated it, it brought me to :

    500 – Internal server error.
There is a problem with the resource you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed.

now i can’t even login to the wp-admin page to remove the plug in. I don’t know if its the plug in that causes the problem though.
    PLS HELP!

  • I hope you can login to ftp file manager ( cpanel etc )
browse wp-content/plugins/ and either rename the folder containing that plugin or delete it. it will force plugin deactivation so you have access to admin.

    hi,
will it interfere with my content that i have already put in??

    will it interfere with my
    content that i have already
    put in??

    No.
I am afraid the only solution is the one @vel16 highlighted. You can fix this by contacting your hosting provider and asking them to deactivate a plug-in X manually found in wp-content/plugins directory..
