500 Internal Server Error

    I’m getting a 500 Internal Server Error whenever I try to install UpiCRM.

    The system seems to hang for a minute or so without making any progress. Then, it times out.

    The details of the message (Firefox browser) say:

    “Internal Server Error

    “The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

    “Please contact the server administrator at [webmaster email address] to inform them of the time this error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error.

    “More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

    “Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.”

    All of my plugins are up-to-date, as is my theme and WordPress installation.

    I have tried disabling all my plugins and changing to the Twenty Sixteen them, but all installation attempts still lead to the same error message.
