    Hello,

I have been experiencing lately issues with my e-commerce website shutting down for couple of seconds (500 internal server error, or error 504)then going back to normal. Sometimes our home page would load in 2 secondes, moment later the same page with same queries would load in 15 secondes. I’m not seeing pattern here as this happens very randomly. Sometimes, website would work perfectly for an hour then it is extremely slow for 10 minutes. Therefore in my opinion it is not an issue that could be solved with slow queries optimisation or so.

My server provider who is generaly quite reliable “Siteground” is saying that it is a plug in issue (update/coflict, etc..), although i haven’t added or updated any plugin lately.

Did anyone ever experienced this kind of issues before? As neither my developer or my server provider is coming with a real solution? This issue is affecting very badly my sales

Me. I tested and confirm you that it’s the plugin. I did two times the installation successfully. After completed, I couldn’t save any products or home page as the 500 error occured. As soon I uninstall the plugin, everything is back to normal.

    Hey @nandesb14 & @omrane ,

Thank you very much for reaching out to us. I’m really sorry to hear that you’ve both encountered this issue.

As a first step, would it be possible to let me know if you’ve tried deactivating the plugin and you still encounter the same error, @omrane ? Also, could you please let me know the number of products you have in your shops, including any variations?

I’d be happy to further investigate this for you in case this is caused by the sync process putting a big strain over your site’s server.

    Looking forward to your response.

    Best regards,
    Pit

    Good day Pit,

My issue is definitely not plug in. As i haven’t installed any plug in lately.
As matter of fact, my server provider site ground reverted after all and informed me that another account was over-using its portion of the server resources and spawning a lot of MySQL queries so they fixed the issue. It worked fine for 48 hours and now i’m having the same issue again since 2 days ago. I emailed the help server again this morning to let them now, still waiting for their feedback.

If you have a different view on how to resolve this issue please let me know.

I have 2500 products and around 6000 variations

    Best wishes,
    Omrane

    Hey Omrane ( @omrane ),

Thank you very much for sharing more information regarding your server provider’s investigation. This is very helpful to further investigate if our plugin is causing any performance issues.

I’d recommend waiting for your server provider’s feedback once again in case this is being caused by a similar issue as the previous one. One thing that you can test would be disabling Facebook for WooCommerce temporarily to see if this enhances the performance of your site. Please, keep me updated as it would be really helpful to know more about what’s causing this issue!

    Looking forward to your response.

    Best regards,
    Pit
