500 Internal Server Error (caused by 2.6?, not so sure)
-
My site is https://www.5starhiphop.com
I was browsing thru my site and I was reading thru a long article I had just posted and I found an typo and went to correct it and got a 500 internal server error.
“Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Apache/2.2.8 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.2.8 OpenSSL/0.9.8b DAV/2 mod_auth_passthrough/2.1 mod_bwlimited/1.4 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635 mod_jk/1.2.25 SVN/1.4.5 mod_perl/2.0.3 Perl/v5.8.8 Server at https://www.5starhiphop.com Port 80″I initially thought this was my hosts fault, because I hate my host and I didnt do my research before signing up for a year(basically they have BAD support). I thought it would just come back up soon, but it’s been hours. It happened around 10:30 pm EST.
I can still access my site thru ftp and I have backed it up in case I need to re-install.
I went to my hosts live support, but he was general support and not much help, he told me to send an email to support@______.com. I did so, but, like I said, their support sucks. Plus I realized it’s probably not them since I can still access all my files via ftp
Any help on what to do would be much appreciated. Oh, btw, I am on 2.6. But this did not happen as soon I installed 2.6 I installed 2.6 around 5 pm and this didn’t happen until 10:30 pm. I also was not tinkering with anything when this happened.
ANY HELP IS GREATLY appreciated.
Thanks
