500 internal server error Request Timeout

    Hey there guys!

    Test e-mail gives me Request Timeout 500 internal server error. The same with woocommerce when doing checkout.

    It was working few days ago. Tried disabling Lite speed cache plugin. Did not help.

    Could this be related to Cloudflare? It is the only thing that comes to mind that has changed in past days.

    I am using your plugin on the same hosting on other website and it is working. (that website is not connected to cloudflare)

    Just tried to configure WP Mail SMTP plugin on another website which uses Cloudflare. It does not give internal error, but no matter what settings I set it gives me: There was a problem while sending the test email. Could not authenticate your SMTP account.

    I know that settings are correct, because I use them on a site where it works. (without cloudflare)

    P.S. I dont know why but the other site with Cloudflare also just started to load for long time and give me this error after pressing test email

    Solved it!

    Just change in Cloudflare DNS Settings proxy status for email from Proxied to DNS only and problem is gone in a second.
