    Hi (again!) @capuderg,

I am having a problem with a customer trying to install one of my themes. The dreaded 500 error is received. The error log file says the following:

[13-Feb-2017 14:44:41 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Class ‘XMLReader’ not found in /home/user/public_html/dev/wp-content/plugins/one-click-demo-import/vendor/proteusthemes/wp-content-importer-v2/src/WXRImporter.php on line 123

Is this a problem with their php setup on the server, or is it a problem with something missing from the OCDI files?

Thank you as always for your help.

    Joan

    Hi Joan,

the issue is with their PHP setup on their server, it’s missing the php-xml module. This is very rare, that this PHP extension is not installed by default and that’s why the XMLReader class is not available.

They should contact their hosting support and they will be able to solve that for them.

    Take care!

Okay thanks. I just wanted to make sure because the example error description on your site showed an error with wordpress-importer – but this error was in your plugin. I will let her know what to ask the hosting company about.

    Thank you!

Hi capuderg, Yes, that was the problem. She got it enabled, and everything worked as it should.

    Thanks for your help!
