    Hey all,

I altered the header image size in my function.php code and immediately after my site will not load and shows “Server Error 500” when I try to go to the site.

I looked up some reasons and fixes but wanted to check here before I do anything. How can I fix this? Thank you!

    Undo your edits ??

But seriously, you need to revert to an older version of functions.php.

Header size is typically specified using css – you haven’t indicated how you changed the header size but typically you do it in a separate styles.css file.

Like wpfan1000 said, you’ll need to undo (or fix) your edits. Log into your website via FTP (or thru cPanel’s File Editor) and you’ll be able to edit functions.php. What were you trying to edit?

I was editing the header width. I got my hosting service to help me fix it – thanks for the help!
