500 Status Code on Jetpack 5.5

I’ve been reading about the problems people are having with the latest Jetpack update. Mine is installing correctly, but it makes the site render a 500 Error. When i try to connect with Facebook or Twitter:
500 status code for “POST /me/publicize-connections/new”

Thank you for the info. I was able to do edit my wp-config, but It will not connect to Facebook still shows the above error
When i try to connect Twitter i get this error: Cannot read property ‘sites’ of undefined
I am waiting for the host to respond to me to edit .htaccess & ini file
