5000 character limit doesn’t work for description

Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us.

Can you show us a link to one of your products where we can copy/paste the description and try to replicate the issue at hand on one of our test websites?

It was already possible to use the “unfiltered product description” attribute to get your product descriptions truncated however we have just pushed out a new release of our plugin that also automatically truncates the normal and short product description for Google Shopping feeds when it is longer than 5000 characters. Just update the plugin and you should be fine.

Truncating works but now html has appeared in the text, links.
